Buried in Beads!

I saw a few of the posts from you guys about the knitting place in Anchorage.  I'll have to check it out the next time I go down!

However, I was wondering if any of you have reccommendations on more specialty craft stores in Alaska- particularly Fairbanks area?

The bead store is very nice, but I'm sort of taking a break from beading right now, due to a lack of good beading space at home.  The Snow Goose (or what ever it was called) yarn store near the Johanson that was in the same plaza as the bike store is now closed too.

Also, does anyone know of a good Rug Hooking store anywhere on this side of the country?  I moved up here in 07 from NH where I was fortunate enough to live fairly near a great one.  Now I hardly find anyone who knows what rug hooking is.  Even a nice webpage for supplies would be great.  I keep turning up latch hooking or felting stuff, but no go on the regular burlap and wool strips.

I go to Anchorage from time to time since I have friends down there, so I'd love to hear about options in that area too!  I dearly miss the specialty cross stitch place in NH... Michaels and JoAnnes just don't cut it.

Thanks!

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

Thank you SO much!!!!

I'll have to try and detour to Anchorage over Memorial Day weekend (I'll be in Valdez).  I really appreciate it.  Cheesy
