Multi Craft Mucha

Wow.. I am finishing up gifts left and right. This is going to be for my mom. She is a huge fan of Alphonse Mucha's paintings so I thought I would try to reproduce one for her.
 I used all kinds of things I had laying around over many many days... and the final product is made of felt, some fabric applique, embroidery, beading, and fabric paint.
I think I am going to make a nice little tote with the green leafy fabric to stitch it onto. This took forever, but I am quite pleased with the results. Here are some pics and the original painting I was working from.

Rocked and wisted! This is just lovely. I too love his work and it's really crazy how much detail there are in his paintings so to replicate it it mixed media...fantastic!

It's gorgeous.  I'd suggest you should frame it rather than put it on a tote though.  What if it gets snagged on something and the beadwork comes off or it comes apart?  It's too pretty to get roughed up.

Wow!!!  I mean Wow!!!  What a beautiful piece of art!!!!  It is so very intricate.  I love how you've pulled everything together.  Wow!!!  Have you decided how\what you are going to present it to your Mom?  I agree,  I'd put something so beautiful behind something that would preserve it's beauty so it wouldn't get dirty or snag on anything.

That is absolutely gorgeous! It must have taken forever, but the beadwork and layers are so amazing.

I am a pretty big fan of Mucha, and just recently got to see the Mucha Museum in Prague (with a lot of his original sketches/etc). Looks great!
