Hi!

I made this dragon scarf for a swap partner's son recently and she received so I thought I'd post pictures :] He is made out of fleece scraps I had leftover from making my brother a dinosaur costume a fews years ago, buttons for the eyes and nose, and felt for the teeth. It was fairly simple to make, and I am pretty happy with the final result although I suspect if I made another things might improve. In fact, I might even say he was cute!

That same partner also has another son who I thought deserved a scarf as well. Haha. He was more into robots so I ran with that. Using more of the left over fleece, fabric scraps and double sided fusible web I made a little robot applique patch thing and sewed it onto the fleece. That sounds way more complicated than it was.

What do you think?

*claps in childish glee* Love it!  The dragon scarf is grrreat!  I know a little girl who would love one of those in pink or purple with sparkly scales (The show Dragon Tales?  Yeah, she has a thing for that)

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.

Thanks guys! It would be totally fun to make a girl-y one! Like with the iridescent fabric that goes on sale around Halloween!

I absolutely love both of these. I recently discovered the quick and easy use of fleece as scarves and would really want to make some more. These are wonderful! Thanks for the ideas Smiley And I hope your partner loved them!

I love this! We've recently had a LOT of snow and it's so hard to find nifty patterns for boys but these are both great ideas kudos to you Smiley
