Hey crocheters! I am semi-new to craftster...well I am newly active on the lovely forums. So much good info from really talented folks on here, it is super inspiring.

I have been on an amigurumi kick lately.
I have been making some cute stuff for the kids in my life

Foxy Loxy
here is the link for his pattern (I linked to all the patterns I used below each critter)

Her blog is my fav for cute critters and food themed projects.

I would like to make a few more critters before christmas, but I am running short on time and yarn!  Wink

I love the fox and the brain slug the best, because the fox used to be my favorite animal and the brain slug is just a great idea! haha great job! I'm new to crochet but I think I'm doing good so far, still on straight lines though, I can't wait to graduate to amigurumi!

You can do it!  They're harder to mess up than you might think-- in fact, I learned on amigurumi using Tamie Snow's Tiny Yarn Animals book, and just barely tried my first "straight line" pattern.  I tried to follow the patterns as best I could, but it's also fun and very educational to improvise.

And a huge second on the vote for the brain slug!  So clever, and I know someone who'd love one for Christmas.  Thanks for the inspiration!

thanks!
none are my own patterns, just to be clear. I have a few of my own patterns in the makings, but I did post the links to those above projects if anyone wants to make them!

I love amigurumi...i learned from amigurumi world....sort of by trial and error. If you have some crocheting experience you should do fine with ami patterns.
