Ok guys, so I walked up to my LYS (hooray for awesome weather!!!) today and I talked to the owners to make sure it was ok for us to stop in during the meet up.  They said it would be awesome, they don't have any classes planned at all for Sat. the 18th, so the shop won't be too crowded, and they offered to give us a discount too!

Marilyn wasn't sure exactly how much it will be yet, she has to run some numbers and talk to her business partner about it, but she says she'll let me know in the next week or so.

The shop is Ewenique Knits.  They ladies that own it, Marilyn and Amy, are super nice!

Is it too late for me to join in and say "I wanna go, I wanna go!"  Cheesy

I have never seen this section of Craftster, and I don't post often but I am a hardcore lurker! lol  I am very interested in joining the meetup on the 18th in Royal Oak.  I'm close by and know the city well.  I will have to go back and read all the pages for this thread, but I just wanted to make sure it was ok for me to come too!  I don't have any crafty buddies  Cry

I'm mostly into sewing at the moment, and I hang out over in the clothing section, and the hsh section.

Well, Superhooker, I know you need the discount to replenish your stash after your IYP knitting frenzy. Wink  (Okay, so probably not really, but it's a good excuse, right?)

That sounds good. Is this where we want to meet?

Any though about a time?

I'm leaving on Saturday, but I should be able to check the board from my Dad's house.

AQ, I did a tiny bit of stash enhancement today (whoops!).  I can't say no to cascade 220.  Or any green yarn, for that matter.

Oh, and I forgot to say, but Ewenique Knits is also a spinning store, so they carry fiber and all that jazz too.
