I don't like cricket. Oh, no. I love it.

I wanted to share a couple of my designs that have recently been published.

Esme is a two-in-one hat that can be worn as a beret or a cloche.  It's knit in a chunky yarn and makes for a quick knit.

Torbay is a neck-down yoke cardigan (in many sizes) knit in an aran-weight yarn.  It features simple cables down the front and garter stitch welts.  A contrast yarn used in the cast on and off provide a nice finish.

Both are in the Winter 2008 issue of The Inside Loop.

Thanks everyone!  Torbay was a real labour of love and I nearly gave up when I had four spreadsheets to keep track of the numbers for all the sizes.  By comparison, Esme was such a breeze!

Love the hat!  It would make a perfect gift for a friend.  And using easy-to-find UK-friendly yarn too!
