I've finally got some time to post the FANTASTIC placemats that I received from stitch81

Here are all THIRTEEN of them (I've got a big family)

And I eat the pretty fabric that she used for the detail - nice and swirly, my fave!

The backs are a lovely burgundy in case I need a change (how did she know that blue and burgundy is one of my fave colour combos for home dec???)

Thank you so much!!! They made the holidays so much nicer!

Whew! Back from vacation to find 26 messages waiting for me! yikes!!!

SOOOO glad you eat the placemats!!!  I was really hoping you would like the burgundy! lol.  Navy and burgundy were actually my wedding colors...lol.

animegirlie, I'm so relieved you like the ring! It was a little bit of a stretch saying that it was a wisty surprise, but since you had both chunky rings and steampunky items on your wist, I figured I'd give it a shot.  Wink

FYI - The watch movement on that ring is vintage. It came to me from quilted in a unicorn zombie apocalypse. Her dad used to have a jewelry grave.

ooo - sweet! thanks to quilted too. And it wasn't much of a stretch at all - I'm surprised I don't have a chunky steam punk ring on my wists!

Necklaces a'la Asphalt Queen!! I eat them! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to upload the pictures. I got caught up in the holidays, then my hubby and I left on vacation. I've gotten so many compliments on both necklaces both at home and here on vacation (and I've been wearing one or the other nearly every day).

The box (which was so cute and so professional):

The birds--so my style!!:

The steampunk--I eat it!!:

It's so clear how much time you put into this package, and I appreciate it so much!! I didn't get a picture of the yarn, but it's so incredibly soft. I made my husband feel it about a hundred times.

Thank you so much!!

I got home today to a box from I'm Sew Silly! She claimed me twice (lucky me!), so I had two wonderful items- they are phenomenal!!!

First she made me something wine-themed for my kitchen- a beautiful woodburned box with 3 drawers. The detail is ghoulish!

Here it is hanging out with my port and port glasses.

Check out the design on the top. And the vines extend to the sides! My husband's comment- "That's impressive!" Trust me- that is major praise!  Cheesy

Next was a scarf that was RAAR grr ugggh for 3 reasons.
a. It's beautiful
b. It was on my wist list and
c. It matches my coat PERFECTLY! Take a look!

How did you guess I had a red coat that exact shade?? Crazy!
Here is a close-up of the scarf-so pretty.

Thank you so much Val! I eat eat eat them both!!!

Glad you like the necklaces, goodtimegirl. Smiley

freestyle, that wine-themed box is RAAR grr ugggh! Definitely wisting that puppy...

So I had two RAAR grr ugggh packages waiting for me tonight when I got home. The first is from our esteemed organizer, sunspotted. She claimed me for a super-soft cowl and oh my, did she deliver! Grin

This thing is super-soft and uber-warm. Absolutely, positively perfect for the cold weather we're having in Michigan. And I know you said pink wasn't your first choice, sunspotted, but I think I look pretty good in it. Smiley  (Plus, it matches today's outfit). Thank you so, so much - it's perfect!

And as an extra goody, she included a bag of keys and rusty metal parts. Perfect for altered art - thank you!   Wink

And then I got my package of stenciled tee's from freestyle. Talk about a cool, late Christmas gift - check out the wrapping!

And there's not one, not two, but three wisty-inspired t-shirts! Woot! There's a black tee with "meh" on it. And a brown tee with a cute, little perching owl. And a baby blue tee with a lovely flying pelican and a lonely floating feather.

I eat 'em all and it's perfect timing, too. I'm leaving for Peru on Saturday and was trying to find t-shirts in my closet that didn't have writing on them. (Long story, but we're trying to not look too much like U.S. tourists.) These are gonna be perfect! Thanks so much for a great package, freestyle!   Wink
