So, I went to a Christmas party today, and we were supposed to bring with us a present worth under $10.  I had mine, and the one mr.fantastic was bringing, but ended up wrapping them at the last minute.  So, I got out the wrapping paper, and the scissors, then went hunting for tape.  No dice!

I found coloured duct tape (mr.fantastic talked me out of that one... he thought that even though I had some green that it wouldn't be as "festive" as I thought).  I found some coloured electrical tape (see above. *sigh*).  I found my Tacky glue, but knew it wouldn't dry in time to run out the door.  So, I thought to myself, stickers would do it!  I rummaged around some more and couldn't find my stickers.

I was just about to wind yarn around the gifts when it hit me:  I have a Xyron machine.  It makes stickers.

So I grabbed some striped wrapping paper, fed it through the machine, then cut some tape-sized pieces from it, then went about wrapping.

Here are some pics:

Regular presents, no?

Turn them over and see!

Close up (did I mention I was in a hurry?  That's why the edges are so crazy)

Left overs (a bit wrinkly... I normally don't leave things to the last minute like this!)
