Thanks for the cookie recipe link.

I'm always looking for something new to try.  This one sounds intriguing.

The Chocolate Red Chile cookies sound good to me.  They remind me of one of my family's traditional Christmas cookies, Mexican Chocolate Cookies - from one of Maida Heatter's  old "all things chocolate" sort of cookbooks.  They are refrigerator cookies, combine chocolate, cinnamon, and cayenne, and keep very well.  My dad makes them for Christmas every year.  I found the exact recipe online, and highly recommend them:  http://bakingsheet.blogspot.com/2005/07/more-of-maida-mexican-chocolate.html

My package is out for delivery this morning! I'm staying at my parents though and we are very rural so I don't think the post person will come knocking at our door, so I'll have to go pick it up at the post office tomorrow Sad

I WAS WRONG I DID RECIEVE TODAY!!!! Aparently we have this nifty box that the post person puts parcels in for people and puts the key in out mailbox. Oh and what a wonderful package Smiley

Here`s the whole lot:

And here is the wonderful mod-podged collaged kitty Christmas tin! I love it!:

These are the extras, really big cookie cutters which I will use as soon as possible! How could you guess that I've been looking all over for a snowflake cookie cutter Smiley And a cookie cutter and recipe book to make treats for my kitties!!:

The very pretty recipe cards! (Sorry I was too much in a hurry to post and forgot to turn the picture!):

And last but no least THE COOKIES! She took and ran with my favorite flavors! Orange shortcake, Raspberry-almond sandwhich cookies, and cinamon sugar biscotti!:

I LOVE all the cookies but my favorite are the raspberry ones Smiley Oh and I love how you packed everything in popcorn! So much cheaper than buying packing peanuts, great idea!
THANK YOU!

What a lovely package!  The raspberry almond cookies do sound especially tasty and the orange shortcake (the little stars, right?) are so pretty.

I have my fingers crossed that the package I sent will arrive today.  Until this morning, I'd managed to resist checking the tracking numbers, but I just broke down and it looks like it's in town, Lethargic!

A snowflake cookie cutter!?!?  How awesome is that.  I can think of a million reasons for a snowflake cookie cutter, and they all spell cookie.

The orange shortcake cookies sound delish.  And it looks like somebody  Cheesy took a sample of the biscotti.

My package is in the town where it is supposed to be.  Maybe today is the day for delivery.

According to our DC numbers, Sunflowersmiles and my packages are still in their respective hometowns where they were mailed out on the 15th...  perhaps the postal workers sniffed out the goods and kept them for themselves?  I'm really hoping both packages find their way to their destinations tomorrow!  Undecided  Priority mail doesn't seem to be so priority around the holidays.  In one of my other swaps, the package my partner sent priority was floating around somewhere for a little over a week before finally arriving at my door... wish the usps would actually update their system... Angry
