Lately, I have seen a ton of completed projects cross-posted into two different boards (one example is sewing clothes for kids and clothing: completed projects, but there are others).  Is this allowed?  My instinct is always to report the cross-posted threads, but I don't because I'm not sure what the rules are and haven't been able to find them by searching.  Anybody know?

Nope.

I would note, though, that it's okay to post something made for a swap in another board (i.e., I post a crocheted scarf I make in the swap thread, and then again in Crochet). Lots of people seem to forget they can do that! Smiley

You could wait for the challenge to end and the use the MOVE button to move it to its appropriate craft board/folder.

(Not my projects - I have seen a few cross posted to challenge entries and whatever other category they fit into, and I'm trying to clarify whether those should be flagged, too...)

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

I had been wondering this for a long time so I am glad I stumbled upon this post!  I see these all the time.  Do we report both threads or is it easier for the mods for us to report one and find the duplicate themselves?  I always get confused on what/when to report  Roll Eyes

You can just report one, but put "duplicate" or "cross-posted" in the note box for us, so we know to look for the other.
