hi people!

well... this was for a swap, but as she has got her package.. i'll post it here anyway!!
this has to be the easiest skirt ever!.... well not that easy... but... it is!

Made from my own pattern

this is what came out!

action shot

another one

now for the tute:

measures: lenght from waist to knee (or to the lenght you want)
lenght of waist.

cut 8 rectangles of your A fabric that measure 12.5 cm wide and .... the lenght is up to you (i made it 45 cms long)

then cut 16 triangles of your B fabic that measure 25 cm on the base and 40 cm long. (you can make them folding your fabric in 8 pieces and then folding in half, like the image below, then cutting)

then... pin and sew 2 triangles and then attach them to the lowest part of the rectangles, like this:
(it's better if you handsew this first)

keep doing like this with the 24 pieces. sew the first and the last, you will have your skirt... but will be missing the waistband

for the waistband, cut a rectangle that is twice the widht of your waist, and 12 cms tall.
Sew all over the rectangle with elastic thread... following the pink stripes in the drawing, every half an inch (more or less every centimeter)

when you are done, sew the waistband to the fabric with elastic thread

and voila!!! your new kind of easy skirt!
I hope you understand it! if there's any doubt, post it or pm me.
The only think i ask you, is that if you make the skirt, post pictures of it in here. you may then make your own thread!
