OK, I've finished this last year, not for myself, but for my bro's girlfriend's 21st birthday present.  I always have this problem that I'm knitting too many things for others, and don't have the time to knit something for myself.  Does anyone have the same problem?

I totally have the same problem!  The main issue though is that I'm not motivated to make stuff for myself.  If I start a project for mysefl, it sits and sits and sits unworked on.  But stuff for other people just flies off my needles.

I really like this project - the lace is beautiful.  I also like you ripple wrap in your other post (is that what you called it?)  Both very very nice!

heheh..tell me about it. I think I have been making too many baby sweaters and booties. Right now, I'm knitting a Rowan KidSilk Haze Cardi for myself. Hope I'll have the time to finish it before my b'day. I love your shoulder warmer. Mind posting the pattern?

I love your project, the lace is so pretty.
Did you design it yourself?

I got the lace pattern from a shawl that I saw and improvised it into a shoulder warmer.  Let me try to find the pattern...

Very nice!

I was just musing on how I do so much knitting, I give it all away.
