Pet Lovers Swap (Sign-ups CLOSED; Send-outs 02/11/09)

Hit the craft store yesterday to pick up a couple supplies.  Once Xmas comes and goes and I have a couple of days off from work, I'll be a crafting maniac (not that I stopped...exactly).

I've got some ideas banging around in my head, but until I finish two other things during holiday break I can't start crafting.   Actually, if all goes well I can get started next week!

I pretty much know the main part of what I'm making for princesspimp, but I have to finish up my Christmas crafting and clean today. I accidentally took a nap yesterday while the dogs were out and not in their crates and they decided it was Christmas and opened presents and somehow got down some decorations.  I'm still tryin to figure that one out. I've been cleanin up their mess all morning. Last time they were left alone for a couple hours in the house they ate a whole (new) loaf of bread and Bear ate and threw up my sock.  I always ask for socks for holidays and my mom doesn't understand where they go. I keep tellin her my dog eats them, I don't want to touch them after they've come back up.

Just a random little rant:
I went to petco today, and as always I rummaged through the clearance bins. Deep down in one of the bins under a huge stack of seasonal dog shirts I found a bright red rain coat! Which is perfect since we've been having a bit of rain here in southern california and it's going to rain again on monday. And even though it's not raining, I put it on him right when i got home and have not taken it off since. The funny part that I can't seem to get over is how noisy the coat is. All through the house I hear *shuffle shuffle shuffle* -pause- *shuffle shuffle shuffle* and I laugh every single time haha
here he is with his new rain coat!

P.S. I forgot to mention that the rain coat was originally $12.99. I got it for $3!!! What a STEAL!

Aww how cute! I love the clearance bins at the pet stores, theres almost always something fun hiding in there.

swap related: planning in progress.... got a list of ideas! An extra large I may start on the 4 1/2 hr drive to Pittsburgh on Friday & may do some more on the 4 1/2 drive back

THEN, during the week we have my bf's boys...I doubt I will be allowed to craft, but...if I can, then I will knock off some smalls that week & finish up the large on the 4 1/2 drive BACK to pittsburgh. Should finish it then...On the way back it'll be too dark to craft so then in January, I will just need to buy some extras & craft some smalls/possibly mediums?
