Big Corduroy Bag inspired by Queen of DIY shopping singlet

A couple of weeks a go I made some of Queen of DIY's wonderful shopping singlets and was inspired to make this bag. This  is made exactly like the shopping singlet except the straps are longer and the sewn together on the same side instead of attaching both sides. Since I am using this for a handbag I put a zippered pocket and slip pocket on the inside and have a magnetic snap for closure. I have an oustide pocket for my cell phone. I got the corduroy fabric at a thrift store for 25 cents. I'm very happy with my new cheap bag. 





the straps are folded in half and sewn to give a smaller opening.

That material is corduroy ?
i wish i could touch it !
i love the pattern , and colour of it.. and it would jsut make it 9843878645 times better being corduroy !
