My friend got married in september and I wanted to make her a quilt as a present, I wasn't really sure about what I wanted to do untill I saw http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=260589.0 and was totaly inspired! So i made this quilt with 16 different beige and brown prints (it was way harder than I thought it would be to find 16 in the same colour familiy!) in 1" stripes with chocolate brown sashing and hand embroidered corner pieces.

A close up of some of the fabrics

The top left corner piece has their wedding date, I wanted it to look kind of like a brand logo.

The bottom right corner has their initials

thanks for looking!
