In order to bring my house up to code, we had to put a fire resistant door skin on my door and a self closer (we have a house divided into two apartments). It was UGLY, and not at all in keeping with my funky motif. So I got some contrasting paint to my lovely orange walls, and some funky squares, and now my door is cooler then ever!

That is one seriously cool door.  Grin

The 'before' picture elicited a squeak of terror from me... it looks like a reject from that terrible era in the late-80s where everyone had a pink-and-grey (or worse, grey-and-apricot) colour scheme.
