I'm about to venture on the first of a few projects requiring zippers, so I think that this will be a real help. Thanks!

Me either! Went to the link and it said the pages weren't found. Since its someone's personal page, not a business, or whatever, I try to avoid keeping sites based on angelfire, the sites with them rarely stay long......

Buy a copy of the vogue butterick guide to sewing techniques; # ISBN-10: 1573890049
# ISBN-13: 978-1573890045
second hand in the uk it'll cost youabout 20 ish, in the US there's one on amazon at the moment for a mere $8. it is sooooo worth the money. my copy from the mid nineties is battered and bruised 'cos I use it on an almost daily basis.

and buy a zipper foot for your machine; i can't stress this enough people!!!
