I spent this morning with a bunch of boyscouts ripping the covers off of hardcover books for recycling.  Some of the covers were just to adorable to throw away, coz on older books, they put the design right on the hard cover!

So now I have this adorable cover with a circus on the front, and I was wanting to give it some new pages and maybe give to the boyfriend's mother since she loves antiques.

Any advice as to how to go about filling the cover>  I was thinking maybe coptic stitching some signatures together, then gluing to the inside, but I have NO IDEA how to coptic stitch AND i dont even know if thats a good idea!  HELP!
