artists make lousy slaves

I made a bunch of cards with (small) beads and glitter, mostly using Mod Podge, put the beads and glitter kept coming off. What can I do next time, or should I just stick with other materials?

A Xyron machine is great for glitter.  Also, I like Aleene's Tacky Glue.  Smear it on with a q-tip for glitter or dot it on for beads.  It dries clear.
