I spent this morning with a bunch of boyscouts ripping the covers off of hardcover books for recycling.  Some of the covers were just to adorable to throw away, coz on older books, they put the design right on the hard cover!

So now I have this adorable cover with a circus on the front, and I was wanting to give it some new pages and maybe give to the boyfriend's mother since she loves antiques.

Any advice as to how to go about filling the cover>  I was thinking maybe coptic stitching some signatures together, then gluing to the inside, but I have NO IDEA how to coptic stitch AND i dont even know if thats a good idea!  HELP!

(To The Tune of "The Llama Song")Here's a needle, there's a needle, and some yarn between the needles, cast on, knit, purl, always knitting, knitty, knitty, purl.

Proud new owner of a Baby Lock 400!  Any advice for the newbie? PM

That sounds like a great idea. They're are a ton of tutorials floating around for the coptic stitch. Theres a sticky thread with a bunch of differant stiches thats really helpful. Im sure u could find some on youtube too.
