Fabric Dollhouse Goodness

I made this for a swap friend for her daughter and another for my neice for Christmas.

I used ribbon that was doubled and sewn together instead of the fabric ones the tutiral used.  I love the red.




Here is a close up of the felt bird above the front door:


I used felt for the door and the window, a button for the doorknob, and notice the flowers growing up around the front???


These are the botton closures (they are places on each side of the house)


Here is a picture of the house opened up.  The green area can be used as an outdoor garden area!!!

That's so cute! A little bit of alterations and it would be perfect for a boy too. I should make one of those for my baby brother.... Such an awesome idea. Kudos to you and your swap partner, even for accomplishing such a feat, even if neither of you made the idea up or not. ^ ^
