My cousin recently gave birth to a baby boy, so I put together a special handmade gift for him.  I started making the blanket when I first found out she was pregnant, but the rest of the gift I made this past month.  The blanket was knit in three different stitches, stockinette, reverse stockinette and seed stitch.  It's reversible.  Then I crocheted a hat and knit some booties to match.  They are all made in a seafoam green color cotton yarn.  I still did not know the sex of the baby.  Then the baby was born, and I found out it is a boy, so I knit a blue teddy bear.  He has a little grommet in his ear with a blue ribbon passed through it.  This way the bear can be attached to a stroller or a car seat and will not get lost.  The ribbon has a snap fastener on it.   Here it is all photographed together...

And here is a close-up of the bear's head.  You can see his embroidered eyes and the ear....

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

I made this lovely little bear too!  I am completely enthralled with the pattern.  I'm sure I'll be making many more.

That's a different pattern than I used, but it does look similar.  Aren't they great?

Wow! What a really cute idea for the bear.
And I love the color you chose, good for either gender (I would think, anyway.). Smiley
