That is a really great idea!  I may have to do something like that for my daughter and her two cousins!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I used to be a seasonal employee at Build a Bear and I gotta say, I thought the box was the real deal!  But this is soooo much better and more personal!

This is SO cool! You did a great job on the box-I thought it was a real Build-a-bear box until i read that you made it yourself! I would LOVE to have someone give me one of these-I might actually make one for myself adn some others for my cousins. You did an AMAZING job!  Cheesy

Cool present!  My sister gave me a sock monkey kit one Christmas, and it was the best gift ever.  Make sure she stuffs the monkey firm; I didn't realize you had to do that, and my monkey was all floppy and drunken looking.

I've got a handful of vintage patterns up for trade/swap (1950s/60s): Monograms, embellished bags, men's robe, lace work, spats/bags, bell bottom, mod dress.  PM if interested.
