I've been making undies lately and didn't want the dinner table modelling them anymore, so did the modelling myself this time, not really nudity, but it would still seem slightly nsfw.

I made these some time ago, but I didn't have a camera at that time.
The bra is unwired because I wanted to make a bra, but didn't have the right size underwires at home, so I decided to make a sportsbra.
The pattern for the bra is Merckwaerdigh BHS10 view C.
The pattern for the panties is Merckwaerdigh JST6 view A.

I made the panties a few months ago and the bra last month.
The panties are the same pattern as the purple and black ones.
The bra pattern is PBH30 view A, it's a push up bra without filling.

I made these this week. I drafted the patterns for the bra and the panties myself (with the help of a book). Not too happy with how the wiretape (is that the right word for it) came on and the middlefront piece is a bit too wide, while I already made it a lot smaller.

Tutorial

Not that much a tutorial on how to actually make a bra, but a tutorial on changing the size, because patterns also come in standard sizes.
If you buy a bra that has a bigger bandsize and smaller cupsize it won't fit, but if you have a pattern, you can easily adjust it to fit a bigger cupsize and smaller bandsize.
You can go down several bandsizes.
In many patterns the cups and the center front are designed not to stretch or to have not much stretch, so you will have to use a non-stretch or little stretch lining.

Panties are easy to make, it doesn't take much time and because of the stretch material quite forgiving if you make a little mistake in the sizing.

I want to make my own bras SO bad because I can NEVER find any my size.  I'm just too intimidated to go about it right now, especially since I'd have to order almost everything online.
So, go you!  They all look great, and I would have never guessed they weren't bought from a store.  (assuming I could even find a store that sold pretty undies in more than 1 size. Angry)

Very pretty. I've been considering salvaging pieces of older bra's I have that are losing thier elasticity and stuff because the underwire is the right size and such... I'm just nervous about trying this myself. I'm sure it's just like Everything Else, that once you try it and keep trying three or four times it's not that hard, just a matter of mastering new skills and learning processes...
But still. Nervous. lol.
Besides, I have to make christmas gifts *shifty eyes of excusesfulness*
