I saw this weird little crate thing on the curb and grabbed it.one side was broken so I took that part off moved a few of the peices around nailed it together to make it more secure.then digging around in our shed found a piece of mdf the perfect size.i sanded  it down and broke out the paint and painters tape and made it a top for my new table.voila
I still have to seal it but for a freebie im pretty happy with it
