OK so I have made three similar capelets in the last month or so, and I still have one more to make for my daughter before Christmas.

I had to bribe my son into modeling for me. The cape is a little bit large on him.
So the one I am entering is this one, (Just finished last night!)

This is form an Ottobre pattern. It is made of white polar fleece and the applique is flannel. The white parts of the deer are cut out from the flannel to expose the fleece (eyes and spots on his backside). It's got a cute little "elvish" pointy hood. Before I added the trim I asked my DH what he thought about it, and he said it looked like a KKK cape  Angry

It only cost about $6 to make this capelet

This is so cute! I'd love to see the others. And don't worry, no white supremacy worries here...

This is adorable! But your DH cracks me up! I didn't see it before, but now that he mentions it... without the applique and trim I would have agreed, but the finished product doesn't look anything like a KKK cape Cheesy still really funny though.
