(Old Fashioned) Random Swap 2009 (Closed) Send out 2/11/09

Yeah, it was a pretty routine thing to begin with (won't go into details, don't want to make anyone squeamish) but they messed it up.  Her doctor (the surgeon) is good, but he's too cocky, I think.  He barely spoke to us before either procedure, and after the first one (October), he made my brother and me wait for almost 3 hours AFTER THE SURGERY WAS COMPLETE to come tell us it went well.  We were bored out of our wits in the waiting room and worried because no one had come to tell us she was out of surgery.   

But anyway, she's hopefully going to recover from this one just fine. 

I was kind of prepared for having a child because I've been taking care of my mom for so long!

Also, I (like) paren(these)s apparen(tly).

And I'm going to start working on something else right now.  I ate something and I feel a lot better right now.  Energy-wise.  Driving can take so much out of me!  I was completely drained.

I just recieved from AshphaltQueen and WOW!
I was spoiled rotten!
I've got to get new batteries for my camera and take some photos when it's sunny. Prepare for a tonne of photos.
Everything is so wonderful and, really, pretty awesome!

I'll have my photos in the gallery tomorrow night for sure.

But that's OK!  I just hope they arrive the same day.  And of course I'll attach DC#s to each.

SHIPPED!  Just got back from the post office.  I didn't think I'd be down to the wire on this one!

And I ended up sending a fair amount of already-made stuff that I purchased (you know, sort of like supplies) but it was a random swap so HA! 

Don't worry, I didn't give much of anything away just now.

I was really worried about something I wanted to make, and still have yet to recieve some fabric I ordered to finish a _____ for Dragonmama... so I'm going to the store tomorrow morning to find a replacement and I'll either send her the fabric as an extra if it makes it here before monday or use it for a different project someday down the road... I'm really bummed  it didn't get here in time... 

So, yeah... sending Monday, lol
