I've been planning on making these for ages, and I finally got around to making the bags for my step-nephews and step-niece this week.  Cheesy

Since I have to pay an extortionate amount to fly home this Christmas, they are getting me as their main pressie, but these are to have on the day. Wink

I could not find a tute that I liked, so its a combo of several different ones from the internet and female ingenuity. They ended up being surprisingly quick and easy to make, though there were still lessons along the way. These are the four bags open but folded, so they fit within the photo:

Here is a rather blurry one of them closed (my photography skills even amaze myself Wink)

The pink cat is so cute!

Finally, here is a close up of the super-cute dinosaur fabric with the zoo fabric (its a zebra)

I would like to give a huge hug to my friend's mum, who gave me these curtain fabric remanants, and thus made these bags possible. She is an angel. Grin

As always, comments and feedback is most appreciated. Happy viewing and happy crafting!

I love these! I threw together a quick zip pouch for my 3yo ds's snack bag for playschool, but don't really like it. I have some Thomas The Tank Engine material that would be perfect for a new bag, but I wasn't sure what style bag would be best. And this is it! I think he'll be starting school in the new year with a new bag! Thanks for the inspiration!
