Suuper cute!  Your LO looks like he thinks so too!

And lol, only someone from the NW would think it looks like a banana slug, bc I can totally see it, rofl!

Thanks for the comments, everyone!

I had to laugh at the banana slug ones - I'm originally from the NW, and I can totally see where to got that impression.  Too funny!

I added the brown spots on the scarf to help people 'get' that it's a giraffe.  But the first two people I showed it to didn't get it right away.  My hubby said he wasn't sure, but as soon as I said it was a giraffe he said, "Oh, of course!".
Hmmmm, I may have to tweak the design a bit...lol

Here's a link to vegbee's tutorial for anyone interested in making a similar 'scoodie' http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2007/09/scoodie.html

That's adorable!  Thanks for the link to the tute.  It saves me from having to search.

As for future projects, I vote for a frog.  You could put little eyes on top.

I got that it was a giraffe Smiley Very cute! If you would like to make it more recognizable, you could always add some giraffe ears on the side. I don't think aliens or banana slugs have ears  Smiley

awwwh! Giraffes are my favorite, so I knew right away. I think that if you  added the brown spots a few to the hoodie part it would be known right away! But I knew. so that is what counts right? haha

Its adorable! I so want to make one for me!

mintbamboo: I think you're right on with the ears thing - that's TOTALLY what it's missing!  I don't know why I didn't think of it before.  Thanks!

A funny note: I gave one of these away and the thank-you card said "Thanks for the caterpillar hat".  I had to chuckle Smiley.
