The neckerchief is great, even if your kitten doesn't like it. Kittens are well known for not having any fashion sense. And cats for that matter.

I'm pretty sure putting stuff on your cats is unavoidable (especially when they are as adorable as your little darlin).. and equally hated by all kitties. Very cute.

Using a snap was so clever - if you tied it, it would never stay on! Although you might consider a plastic snap, since they're not as strong, and it could function sort of like a safety collar.

OH MY GOD THAT IS THE CUTEST KITTEN I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!! (Other than mine, of course  ) Long hair kittens are so cute, they're so fluffy and furry. She looks so dashing in her kerchief! Only my lil girl will wear clothes; when I put stuff on my older one she lays really close to the floor and refuses to move.

What an adorable kitty!  I was thinking about making some of these for my kitties (whether they like it or not, ha!) but I KNOW they will get them off.  I was thinking about making it with an open hem (err I am VERY new at sewing, I don't know the lingo) so that you can slide it over the collar so they can't get it off as easily.  I need to experiment with this, thanks for the inspiration!
