My niece lost both her rats this year so I crocheted

How thoughtful! One of the most meaningful gifts I ever got was a stuffed cat the year I went to college. I had to find a new home for her, and I was pretty broken up about it. That present nearly made me cry - something that's hard to accomplish! The fact that you handmade it should really mean a lot to her.
