This is a Christmas gift for my friend who saw a cassette tape coin purse and loved it! 
It is entirely hand sewn.  I used felt and a clear cassette tape.

one side has polka dots and shapes


and the other has stripes
 

and here is the inside with the lining


I am pretty proud of how it turned out and can't wait to give it to her!

I love the stripes! How did you get the tape attached to the felt?

If you look closely at the corners of the tape, you can see where I sewed the tapes to the felt.  The tapes I used were conveniently screwed together, so when I took them apart there where holes where the screws had been.  I just used some colorful thread through those holes to secure it.
