Great idea!  Don't know a toddler or pre-schooler that doesn't love playing horsey with a stick horse - all the more special if made with love.

On another board, someone said they were going to try to use the basic procedure to make unicorns and dinosaurs. That could turn out really cute!

I LOVE hobby horses! My friends and I used to play with them all the time. No kid is too old to play with them (my friends still get them out every now and then, they're 15!)!
