I made this set for my newest baby that is due xmas day! I made him a rockin' boombox diaper bag that is just HUGE (wouldn't be Yo! Gabba! Gabba! if it wasn't!) and matching DJ Lance Rock hats for me and him! The interior I lined with Alexander Henry's American love hearts fabric which just screamed YO Gabba! to me. I absolutely am enthralled with the show when it's on. I wanted to make some matching bags with the characters but procrastinated and now I think I'm in labor so it didn't happen LOL.

Here's a photo of the bag upclose. I made my own pattern for the entire thing. The top has an orange 22" zipper closure and the bag measures approx 24" wide by 12" tall and 6" deep. I used wool felt for the circle "speakers" and fleece sewn on only three sides for the "buttons" this way I can use it for pens or to hang my sun glasses.

The bag hides my baby belly but you can see it better in this photo. I couldn't get a close up shot down without getting it the way.

Here are the matching hats made of orange antipill fleece.

And here is me wearing the bag and hat. My 6yo son took the photo so it's not that great but you get the idea! Oh, the straps are gray on one side and the AH fabric on the back.

What do you think?

Awesome! My daughter's favorite show. Throw in a mixed CD of the bands they have play on the Super Music Friends Show and you would have an ecstatic gift getter young or old.

I don't even have a child and I love that show. It's just so innovative with it's beat boxing segments and bands like the Shins being on it.
Way to go on the awesome bag!

Not only is this the hippest bag I have ever seen, but it also made me search for a definition of Yo Gabba.

The first result on youtube was a video of Elijah Wood dancing around with Hobbit-sized puppet people and being totally awesome.   This is the best Christmas present ever!   What a cool show.

Best of luck and congrats in the baby way!
