Thanks so much everyone for your feedback, I really appreciate it!  Smiley  I've just cut the pattern for a boys one, not too different really but a couple of changes to make the body more boxy and less a-line.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to sew it up soon, but my son (not even ds at this point  Tongue) has stopped sleeping.

Awesome! I'm so jealous. I've got to get better at sewing so I can make something like that someday. Love love love the fabric!

Looks can be deceiving, I've only been seriously sewing for 8 months or so.  And my pattern tester for the coat (Munora) thought this would be easy enough for a beginner!
