It's so beautiful!

How did you attach the pages together? I'd be interested to see a picture of the spine!

Thank you all for the lovely words! I'm really excited that it turned out as well as I had hoped.

I sort of made up a binding method by stitching it together firmly, but with enough room to move, in the center and near each end. I didn't get a photo of it and now they have the book! It was almost a vertical stem stitch?

BEST. AUNTY. EVER!!

Sweet! That's what I'm going for.  Grin

I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference.

I must echo everyone's praise!

I am currently knitting a blanket for my "nephew's" (best friend's baby) 1st birthday.  When I saw this project I decided that *if* I finish the baby blanket with time to spare, Ethan will be getting a name book also.

I am going to have to steal your narwhal for n.  I looked at a list of animals that start with the letter n...you for sure made the best choice.

Your work is lovely.  I hope mine turns out even half as nice  Wink

Well, it ended up taking me a year, total, but I did take about 9 months off in the middle.  Wink
Really, the most time-consuming parts were the layout, and the blanket-stitching because there was so much of it. With one under my belt, I could probably finish one in a month now. I'm actually starting a new one for a friend's baby this week, so I will post that one whenever I finish it!

You did a really great job and it obviously took a lot of time, effort, and skill!  You should be so proud.  She will love it forever!
