Accessory hoarder.... scarves beware!

Hello there! This will be my very first post on this board and I have edud and kirstilynne to blame  Wink I recently got some yarn, hooks and a little kids kit on how to crochet from them in the Fill-a-Box Canadian Style swap! I used to know how to crochet when I was younger, and after seeing all you wonderful crafters and the fantastic things you can do with yarn, I had to give crocheting a try again! It turns out (according to my mom and aunt Wink) I am good at it Smiley, and think that I am officially addicted to a new craft Grin!

Here are a few things I have made in the past 2 months in my first attempts at crochet!

The first is a basic scarf done in HDC for the whole thing! It took me forever to do because I only had a size G-6 hook at the time!

The second is a little tiny headband from the little kids kit from kirstilynne!

Here is my second attempt at Ami, a little chocolate loving Penguin! He was made for hahnasay in an Angel package for the Chocoholics Unanimous swap! My very first try was a gingerbread man, but I didn't have brown yarn so I tried it in blue! He has since been stolen by my son and is buried in the toy box Wink... The penguin!

And here is my sleepy little sheep! He was made for my friends birthday this past week! She loved him so much that she cried when she got him!

So what do you think?! I have one other thing finished but it is for a personal swap and its a suprise but I will have pictures up of it soon too!

Here are the links to the patterns for the
Penguin: http://www.lionbrand.com/ (you need a login to access the pattern from the lion brand website but its also offered through the Michaels website!)
Sleepy Sheep: http://harugurumi.blogspot.com/2008/02/baby-sheep-free-pattern.html

Comments and Criticism is always welcome!

p.s. ignore the date on the pics, my camera is on its last days Wink
