I made this beaded watch necklace for my daughter for Yule/Christmas.  We celebrate Yule.  I am ultra poor this year and had to figure out how to make everyone something from what I had on-hand.  I think she's going to like this, or at least I hope she will.  She's always complaining about not having a watch.

I'm in the same boat. I have an extremely large extended family and friends and it gets a little hard to get every girl something so I make it. It's very nice and I'm sure she is going to love it! Wink

She certainly should love it, it's lovely. And inspiring, I wish I had a watch to play with.

The watch came from a dollar store one that was a bracelet type.  You could also use a ladies pocket watch.  I got one a couple of years ago at WM for about $6.  I also used nylon coated wire for the necklace so that it would be strong.
