Another Project Runway assignment in Advanced Pattern.
We were able to spend $20 (sadly it had to be our own money... not quite like the show) on an outfit from Goodwill which we had to deconstruct and remake into something completely different.

Here are the items I chose from Goodwill:

A wool herringbone blazer, a men's cotton button up shirt, purple corduroy jumper dress and a pair of little boy's khaki pants

Front:

I tried to play with the different lines in each of the fabrics as well as the line and silhouette of the final garment.

Thanks for looking =)

Oh wow, this is so cool. You really mixed everything together well! I like how this turned out. It's so original, and complex... Have you tried it on yet? Great job!

Gorgeous dress.
I say since you're already doing the whole Project Runway in your class, I think you should go try out for it!
Everyone at craftster.org would be rooting for you!!

This is amazing. I love everything about it, especially how you use the front of the romper in the back.

How cute is that dress??!?!?
I am so impressed with the way in which you incorporated the corduroy in particular. Using it as piping and as a belt? Fantastic. And I love the way it kinda swoops around the top.
Very well-thought-out! I hope you got top marks for this assignment!
