I'm a big fan of checking the library.  Ours always has a rolling rack of books that go for $1 a BAG! They do inventory a section at a time and books that aren't taken that often or no activity for a certain amount of time go to the rack for sale to make room for more popular books. They also have videos for .50 each. Scored big on Disney films for Grandson.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

Amazing, and an awesome deal. Like missmoppet, my local library unfortunately doesn't have any amigurumi books, only sweaters and afghans. Sad
