So actually my friend did these on the knitting machine I picked up at an estate sale (for only $20), but I was about ready to throw the dam thing out the window, I am not a knitter (I am a crocheter) so I think you have to have a knitters mind set in order to use the knitting machine, anywho I digress....
So she whipped these out on Sunday, brought them to me and I put the crocheted shell border around them. They are small, perfect little reciveing blankets (or security snugglies), they are made with "i love this yarn" and are super soft. We are going to be in a craft show this weekend, we have 6 done total, here are two of the cuter ones

Beautiful!  I love the colors.  I always wondered if a knitting machine would be more trouble than its worth.  I definitely can't knit!  I just don't have the coordination!  ;-)
