Cealy, I'll be glad to send you the pattern (soon-still need to work on that), but for the tutorial I used Ghilie's instructions.  She is really cool about sharing her pattern/instructions via email.  Thanks for the kind offer on the book.  I had this idea (since I can't draw to save my life) of taking pics and decopaging pages for a book. I have a blank Golden Book that might be perfect.

Great backstory!  Being that the babies are anatomically correct is also a good way to help explain the difference between boys and girls it your daughter.

Think the idea of printing off the pictures and story and putting into a book is a great idea!  You could probably get a small scrapbook from your local dollar store that would be perfect if you didn't to try to work over an existing children's book.

KMOM13, I sent her to camp over the summer and there all the kids changed in front of each other so she knows all about boy parts.  (I wouldn't think they'd do this at a Catholic school, but apparently they do.)  So for a long while she was drawing "them" each time to distinguish the boys from the girls since b/g can have short hair, wear pants, etc.

I am going to see about getting better closeups of their faces so that you can see their different personalities.  Hopefully I can post those this weekend.
