okay, someone help me out here...could i skip the circular needles and just use dpn s all the way through?  would i change every other row from k to p then?  just can't work my mind around it at this time of night. Undecided

as long as the dpns are long enough they should work just fine.  the pattern would still be worked the same though.  Knitting with circulars and dpn is the same as far as the pattern goes, both are worked in the round.

Yeah, I knitted the whole thing on DPNs cause I didn't have short enough circs. They were probably not long enough, either! I just kept the stitches really bunched up on the needles so nothing escaped off either end  Smiley
