He's completely crocheted, the entire body is one piece. It's just a matter of increasing and decreasing. The antenna and legs are separate and they curl, so the ant kinda looks dead if i don't stretch him out.



Second photo is a close-up of his fuzzy goodness.



The little guy's not perfect, but he makes me smile.   Cheesy

The yarn was definitely fickle.  It kept splitting and being obnoxious, but it was worth it.

I agree... I've used similar yarn, and by the end the product was cute, but I couldn't see any of my stitches to stitch into them...
