This is my first attempt at anything quilt-like whatsoever!  I know it's nothing complicated but I was still quite proud of myself.  I made this quilt out of football tee shirts for my highschool football team.  My Mom and I still love going to every game and supporting our Mustangs.  I made this quilt a few weeks ago to have when the temps started dropping... it blocks the wind so well!  I used a compilation of different tutorials.  It's FAR from perfect, but I still love it!!!  Sorry for the lack of pictures.. I haven't had a chance to take more than this one of my Mom all snuggled up in it at a recent playoff game.  I hope ya'll like it!

Oo, I really like that. Once I get enough shirts, I'm going to make myself one. What did you use to back it?

Thanks!  I'm glad you like it!  I backed it with gray fleece so that it would be warm.  The batting that I used I believe is called Warm & Natural??  I'm not certain.  It's a nice, thick batting because, again, I wanted it to be warm!  I'm making one for my Dad for Christmas using several of his vintage dragracing tee shirts.  On his I'm going to back it with a plaid flannel and I got a thin batting for it to keep it from getting very heavy.

Yay!!  You found the picture of your mom!  She's adorable!!  I love the quilt, it looks so cozy!  I'm going to have to make myself one of those! Cheesy

Thanks guys!  I know, Sewsew-a-gogo, I was soooo excited when I found it!  I was seriously ready to cry when I lost it.. I just think it's a great picture.  Somehow my memory card created an additional folder when I transferred it to my new camera.. weird, right?

The quilt turned out great... I'm jealous!

We're the Mustangs too and I wish I had enough tee shirts to make a quilt.  I need to keep collecting.
