Hello all  Smiley

I've deccided to come out of the lurking-closet and give a little back to all you amazing and talented craftsters by showing some of the stuff I dabble in...

Since Xmas is creeping ever closer, I thought I'd start with some Xmas presents I've made for some of my buddies:
(I apologize for the less than perfect quality of the photos - the light in my workroom is less than ideal, and I'm no expert photographer)

Being a newbie, I'm not allowed to post pictures yet, but please click on the links!

Rune/galdr poet shirt with machine embroideries. Made from black linen blend with ties at the neck and cuffs and a rather deep neckline (recipients insistent wish *lol*) Little inset picture shows detail of embroidery on upper sleeve

Detail of back embroidery:

Bat miniskirt - gorgeous bat vinyl print soft tulle (yay eBay!!) over blue satin

..and matching bat velvet and lace choker
The choker has blue crystals sewn on the lace around the bat, but I couldn't get them to show up in the pictures  Undecided

Japanese-themed bondage shirt for one of my male friends (sorry it fits my dressform rather poorly - it's a female dressform and the shirt's made for a guy  Smiley ) Black cotton and black/red/white kanji-fabric.
Front:

Back and sleeve detail:

- I still have several more gifts to finish, so I'll post more as soon as they're done.

Hope you enjoy!  Smiley

I love the shirt. Did you use a pattern?

Thank you Tailte  Smiley

I made a basic A-line skirt pattern after my friends measurements and used that to finish the blue satin layer. I then cut about two and a half time her waist measurement of the bat mesh, finished the lower hem of the mesh with a narrow black lace and gathered the upper edge of the mesh to the same size as the waist measurement before putting everything together with a waistband. There's a zipper and button in the back.

Did that make any sense at all? *lol*

I'll be happy to describe it in more detail - just let me know  Smiley
