Hope you all don't mind a little bragging from a Mama Craftster.  Smiley

My 13 year old daughter's friend's birthday was coming up and she wanted to buy her a gift.  Like many people, money is a bit tight for us right now, so I suggested that she make something.  I'm big into upcycling, so we dug out some old CD jewel boxes, and some Krazy Glue and some photos and craft paper later, she came up with this:

And, of course, the obligatory shot of Edward and Bella:

Her friend is Twilight crazy, so I thought it was a nice gift.

I like that idea.  I wish I would of kept all of my old cd cases now!

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.
Dangerously clever and resourceful.

That is so lovely!

Did the friend like it?

She did like it, from what my daughter tells me.  The friend was so excited to have Edward "in her room"!  Grin

Now, of course, my daughter has gotten into the books, so I'm expecting to see a LOT more Twilight stuff around the house!

CD cases as foto frames, that's great! It'd be a great organizer for a desk.

Top Wishlist (at the moment):
Bella's gloves, La Push hat, Weasley Sweater, and Eclipse hat. Also, a yarn bowl!

Going to Wizarding World soon, and in need of some swag! A bag to carry stuff that is HP while there would be AMAZING

Hi ! I also did a CD photo cube a couple of weeks ago, and this was inspired by the very nice tutorial of JULIE.

Kindly visit my blog to view its different angles. Thanks !
