Oh, my crap.  These are the best wreaths of this kind I've ever seen!  Shocked  I tried making one similar to this with just ornaments and failed horribly.  I burned myself a lot with the glue gun, too.  Sigh.  Can you just please ship either of yours to my house?  Cheesy

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

What an awesome wreath!  I love, love, love this!

"I'll fix dinner right after I _______ this!  You fill in the blank: sew, hammer, glue, tack, press, cut, etch, tie, paint, draw, color, iron, solder, grout, saw, cross stitch, bend, stain, wire, build, weave.

Thank you, habitat-lady!

spurtiic, your comment crackd me up. Hot glue burns?!? Uh, yeah. I can sympathize.  Tongue Cheesy At one point, I totally gave up; I couldn't do anything with my hands for about a week. I was gluing one ornament in particular (I didn't realize it was foil  Huh ), and it burst into a million pieces while I was pushing it in the styrofoam.  Shocked Needless to say, I got a shard of foil stuck in my finger ... and just for kicks, I guess, the hot glue decided to try to keep it in there. Ouch!!!

But no worries. I'm feeling better now.  Wink Cheesy

Here are a few of the wreaths I promised I'd post. I think I'm gonna take a little break now and work on some other things. By a little break, I mean probably a week.  Cheesy

Here's the "Asian-inspired" one (I was inspired when I saw black Christmas ornaments. Yeah, just don't ask   Tongue ) :

Here's the Valentine's (my anniversary!!) wreath:

And (because I just couldn't help myself), a St. Patty's Day wreath:

Going to start one soon for crochet. Are the yarn balls, true yarn balls or wrapped around styrofoam?

Funny that you post this because I was at Starbucks the other day and noticed a wreath similar to these. I've been working on a crochet one for my Grandma-in-law for weeks now on and off. She crochets around the clock including during family gatherings and such.

I'll post pictures when I'm done with it for all to see.

these wreaths are so friggin cool! simply for the fact that I have a huge stash of yarn  and three coworkers that I need gifts for Christmas for. and 2 of them are crocheters. now I'll have to look thru my stuff for ornaments to add to them. Thanks! and great job!
