I am working on a quilt using the lovely red bird fabric Velvet Rose sent me, I am trying to collect red and white prints, 100% cotton. Its a log cabin variation so 2,5 strips are fine but Ill definitely will take bigger pieces too.

Crafted:

A basket to keep my wips under control (in whatever medium youd like)
A skirt, in a darker fabric (black, dark gray or brown, navy) cotton or heavier weight  (corduroy, maybe), a darker  large floral would also be great.
A pair of slippers, they can be store bought and embellished (I have a preference for embroidery), knitted/crocheted then felted for durability or made from scratch if you feel so inclined
A fabric wall organizer, it doesn't have to be very big, maybe just 3 pockets to keep my mail and magazine from crowding the coffee table.
A bathrobe or something similar for lounging in my pjs
A t-shirt with something embroidered on it (size small), an owl would be awesome.
Art for my walls, especially for the living room and the craft/exercise room, a small quilted wall hanging would totally make my day. (example in my etsy faves)
Babette blanket  http://shop.interweave.com/store/Babette-Blanket-P235C0.aspx?src=BP080117, I love those colors but shades of blue would be great too.
Mittens or gloves, the warmer, the better, my hands get super cold, lined would be great.
   A fabric scrap belt. http://juicy-bits.typepad.com/juicy_bits/2008/08/scrappy-summer.html
   A thread catcher.

   Scissors (left-handed ones)
Fabric, I recently got a sewing machine and I am trying to build a stash.
Yarn: hand-dyed, handspun or really any kind (no mohair though, we cant seem to agree giving mohair a second chance and I am also not too keen on novelty yarns and acrylics), please send enough for at least a small project. Any weight welcome.

I am Marie and I live in Chicago, USA.

I claim poervra for a wall organizer and a fabric scrap belt.  Yummy.

My name is Samantha, and I live in Washington state, in a rapidly expanding suburb-cum-poorly designed city.  I have one daughter, Tegan, who is 15 months old, and is the absolute pearl of my life.  I recently graduated from Western Washington University, which was in a very well planned small town with a lot of history and a booming local economy.  I don't like extravagance, at least not the kind that looks conventional and expensive.  (I am not, however, above a $300 collection of fabric inside my coffee table...)  I am a liberal, an attached parent, an environmentalist, a lover of nonfiction and documentaries, and of course, a DIYer.  I watch the Daily Show every day, and The Office every week.  I love NPR, and absolutely love This American Life.  I like bold colors, literary references (I was a creative nonfiction major), indie music (not the bs they tout as indie now, but actual indie music-- folksy, underproduced, quirky, intelligent music), hippie nostalgia (a la ma mere), owls, pigs, hearts, and pretty much anything that makes you look twice.  Dislikes: Lenny Kravitz, Ford Taurus, and dogma.  And ignorance.  And bacon.

Let's get to business!

Crafts

Felt food for my daughter.  We have a pancake breakfast and a banana; anything else would be welcomed.  (No bacon.)

Tiny felt animals.  See wists for a few

Silk screened t shirts with things I would find funny or ironic.  For example: I have a T shirt that has a big cross on it and in a circle around it, it says, "Every woman deserves an opportunity."  Which I find ironic.  Or like, a play on there/their/they're.  (I'm studying to be a member of the grammar police, aka a copyeditor.)  Or a shirt that says DIYODS.  Or "Nixon's Head 3008" (Futurama).  Or something else quirky, or something in French.  Again, I like bold colors and my favorites are teal and purple.

Some knitted wool longies for my daughter.  My wists has a few examples of colorways and patterns I like.

All natural bath products or soaps.  Please use only essential oils for scenting.  We love lavender and gardenia.

Bath crayons for my daughter and nephew to color on each other in the bath with.  (Again, be sure the ingredients are natural and safe.)

A custom stamp of a duckfoot, which is my shop logo.  Actually, three duck feet in a walking type maneuver would be lovely.

Handmade cosmetics, mostly blush, with all natural ingredients.  I am like, really paranoid about what touches me.  Also, I'm white as white can be, so in this respect I'd prefer subtle rather than bold.  Smiley

Hair bows on clips for my daughter.  I rarely brush her hair, but I wish I had a reason to.  Clips could do that for us.  Smiley

Knitted/ crocheted leg warmers.  Doesn't matter which fiber, but I'm sensitive to rough wool.  Prefer naturals.

Needlepoint pillows with ironic/ridiculous sayings on them.  Not too big.  Something like, "The best friends are the ones who expect nothing from you."  Which one of my good friends actually said to me.  Not that exact thing, though, because I'm totally making that one for him for Christmas.

A wristband with any kind of Star Trek reference.  (I am parterned to a Trekkie... hopefully that didn't just change your opinion of me.)  Or Nintendo, or space, or something Celtic, or any kind of ancient symbol.

A custom merino colorway to match Heather Ross's Goldfish fabric.  I would love you.  Especially on Gaia or BFL.

Supplies: (as extras please, would really love crafted items the most)

100% wool yarn, or 80% wool with nothing absorbant in the blend, especially BFL, merino, dare I ask it-- cashmere?, anything that would make good longies for a sensitive baby girl.  Alpaca, mohair are ok as additives.  Purewool in anything but 1 ply.  Girly colors.

A 1/8 or 1/4 inch hem foot that will fit a Brother machine.  Snap on.

Wool felt squares in vibrant colors to make felt food from.  She's gonna get some felt food for Christmas one way or another!  Smiley

Amy Butler bag patterns.  Cut or uncut.  Especially the nappy bag, but really any.

Alexander Henry's fabric, "Love American Style".  It used to be at my local Joanns but it's sold out... and it aint comin back.

Any of Heather Ross's kid prints.  I would love you forever.

Photo emulsion stuff so I can try my hand at silk screening.

I would like to claim lapoli for a wool sweater, some lavender flowers and something wist inspired!

**edit**
I forgot this part this morning. Oops. 1st claim, 0 sent, 0 recieved
**edit**

I am a 26 year old female living with my longtime boyfriend and 2 quaker parrots (Bird, age 25, and Lily, age 7) in a 2 bedroom shotgun-style apartment in Saint Louis, MO. I work part time in a the Symphony Orchestra box office and part time at a spice shop. I love cooking and hanging out with the 'chickens' as well as playing World of Warcraft with my SO. I generally like bold, bright colors or warm earth tones; I'm not so much into the neons or pastels. I don't really wear jewelery ever except for my silver spiral earrings. I ride my bicycle and take the metro to work a lot, not necessarily because it's good for the environment, but because it's what I can afford, the good for the earth part is a pleasant side-effect I suppose. I don't have a lot of allergies other than pesticides, which I don't think is something I'd have to worry about here, and something as yet undetermined that is in a lot of kinds of perfumes.

Crafted Items
- cardboard, paper, or natural cotton shredder/preener toys for my medium-small size parrots (without dyes as I think one of my fids is allergic to something in certain dyes, makes him really sick and pukey and me really sad Sad )
- handmade hot pads/potholders
