Hi my name is Jess and I have a crafting problem.

I finally finished my first quilted quilt! (I've done tie-quilts before this)
And I'm just so excited about the results!!!

I wasn't so sure about the fabrics at first... before the blocks were put together, they just didn't seem to mesh...

But once I kept going and got them together- I was THRILLED with the results and so glad I stuck with my original decisions!

I recently took a lesson on a long-arm quilting machine at my LFS. Now I'm hooked!!!

I finished the binding by hand... painful on my fingers- but SO worthwhile!!

And the result!!!

I have a full review and link to the pattern source on my blog: www.elementalcraft. blogspot.com

This turned out beeeee-you-ti-full-eee!

I love the quilting. I am still mired in stitch in the ditch but this simple meander looks great!

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

I've watched you work on this quilt and struggle with the fabric selection.  Seeing it finished I know you must be thrilled with the result.

AAAHHHH I LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS!

So pretty.  I have a friend who is pregnant, and if she ends up having a girl, I'm SO making her a quilt with the apples and pears fabric that you used.

You did a beautiful job!  I love it!
